Reducing Radiation to Skin

There are several types of peat and sphagnum moss that have been used to treat radiation burns and exposure in World War II. These are now available in improved form and are not used or recommended and sold for this purpose. The improved products are more bio available and can heal the radiation damage more quickly if they are applied onto the skin in the area of the damage. These products could help cancer victims treated with radiation, technicians using the radiological machines, anyone working in an area with high radiation levels. Red Dulse peat and fresh kelp can also be ground and applied to the surface in a thin film for about thirty minutes or until they dry out.
