Food Therapy for Hormone Deficiency

For people who get cold easily and have low energy, there is a concept in Eastern Medicine called Food Therapy. This concept addresses the properties of food and how they can affect the body to treat disease and change the way you feel. Lamb is a food that creates heat and can increase the body temperature. It is often used for spleen and stomach deficiency. The lamb should be thoroughly cooked.

Lamb, ginger, garlic, chicken, chives, leeks, cinnamon, ginger tea, and clove are warming in their nature and can help people with diseases that are cold in nature. This includes some hormone deficiencies.

Thyroid deficiency can be treated by increasing kelp, dulce, lamb, seaweed, and mineral salt. Dulce is found in Ireland on rocks and is similar to seaweed. © 2011 by Dr R Stone, MD in Alternative Medicine- India
