Diabetes and Peripheral Neuropathy

Quantum Orthomolecular Medicine associates diabetes with many secondary health issues, including peripheral neuropathy. Diabetic Retinopathy

Quantum Orthomolecular Medicine can often use r-Alpha Lipoic Acid to prevent or treat diabetic retinopathy or peripheral neuropathy that accompanies diabetes type 2. The use of sugar should be stopped and there should be an extreme effort to manage glucose levels within a tight range of 87 to 101. This narrow blood glucose range allows the body to heal from the inflammation caused by high glucose levels. This is a long term strategy.
